Shaneis is a Colorado native, currently working and living in Vail, CO. She received her Masters in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Loma Linda University and has since specialized in the pediatrics. She has participated in two Zacapa clinical volunteer trips, the first of which exposed her love for pediatrics.
Shaneis’ interest in prosthetics and orthotics was sparked while working alongside para-athletes in Triathlon. While the advancing prosthetic technology caught her attention, the resilience of the parathletes ultimately transitioned her into the field. She is an active USA Paratriathlon board member and hopes to continue to grow the sport on the national and international level.
