Somair is an avid outdoor individual, always intrigued by natures design. It gives him ideas in the development and research of his recreational and professional career. Wanting others to experience the same feeling in discovering without limits has been woven into both his undergraduate and post graduate studies. Somair moved to Colorado to pursue the outdoors and engineering and went to the Colorado School of Mines to receive his MS in Bio-Mechanical Engineering.
During his studies, Somair discovered ROMP and went down to volunteer at the clinic to help fabricate and fit patients in Quito, Ecuador. Now lives in California and has led a Climb for ROMP in Los Angeles and continues to spread ROMP’s cause throughout the LA/San Bernardino County. He also volunteers for LRO and Ignite Adaptive as an adaptive surf and snow sport instructor. Somair seeks to break down barriers that prevent those who crave to better themselves and explore without limits in exercise, nature, and opportunity.
