Your favorite ROMP story: Vairo. A great guy who came to ROMP in 2006 in need of prostheses for both his legs. We all got to know and love Vairo who later went on to build the current ROMP facility in Guatemala; climbing up and down ladders on his prostheses and managing a staff of workers. A few years later I was lucky enough to attend his law school graduation. Vairo is the ROMP story in action; providing care based on need, investing in local talent, and empowering individuals through mobility.
