Please Note: This event was initially scheduled from Kansas City to Chicago. Krupa has continued to ride until he reaches his goal. Please, help him by making a worthy donation to The Range of Motion Project. The continued success of this ride equates to providing countless patients mobility to live a life they chose to, a life that helps them prosper as individuals, families, and as a people. Help us provide prosthetics/orthotics to those most in need.
The Range of Motion Project started the 1st ever "ROMP-a-Thon" early this September 2008. An individual rider, Greg Krupa (ROMP field research coordinator/University Student), has so far cycled from Kansas City to Madison, WI. Greg Krupa has decided to continue riding to reach his fundraising goal. He is in the Chicago land area working with ROMPand preparing for his transition to The University of Oregon in the Winter Trimester, but while doing this Krupa is dedicated to continue to ride for ROMP. Whether it be weekend trips or day trips, Krupa is determined to continue riding.
This is a first time event, but we hope that with the success of this 1st event it can become an annual event, including more riders, a two-day format and growing sponsorship. ROMP is offering sponsorship opportunities to help reach its fundraising goal of $10,000. Please help us cotinue to make this year's "ROMP-a-Thon" a success with your participation. Please click here for a letter to donors from ROMP-a-Thon 2008 rider Greg Krupa.
Read more about Greg's experiences as he chronicles his journeys across the American landscape in the first ever ROMP-a-thon in our ROMP blog. The ROMP blog is updated on a continual basis as are photos. Please come back as frequently as possible to check in on the ROMP-a-Thon’s success.
We are always open to ideas and suggestions, if you have any please contact Greg Krupa at gkrupa30@gmail.com or call him directly at (708)334-9852.
