Lauren Panasewicz

Director of Development

After volunteering for the inaugural Climbing for ROMP event in 2015, LP joined ROMP in 2016 as the Director of Events and Outreach focusing on Climbing for ROMP. Since 2015, she’s been dedicated to increasing ROMP’s fundraising efforts and has recently stepped up in a development roll.

She graduated from Gonzaga University with a bachelors in civil engineering and completed her Masters from the University of Colorado in 2011 with a focus on Engineering for Developing Communities. From there she moved to Alaska to pursue a career in engineering and fill her free time with big mountain skiing. After working on water systems in rural Alaska for a few years she switched gears to the nonprofit world teaching adaptive skiing for the National Sports Center for the Disabled in Winter Park, CO. Her biggest passions are climbing and skiing, two things she believes people with disabilities are not limited by their disability but by access to proper technologies. #whatsyourmountain
